Chrys was called in by Zubari to investigate along with her and readily accepted, showing up at the woods with her trusty gardening equipment with the goal of helping Zubari find the bodies she wanted to examine. She wasn't concerned with how illegal it was, she just thought it would be a fun little fieldtrip. When the trail split up she first went with Dreyse, then the trail split again and she struck out on her own. Later, when the groups reunited, Dreyse wasn't among the group. When everyone eventually found her, she was already dead and Simone left to get the real police involved. Chrys helped Zubari examine the scene despite being distraught over her friend's death. After returning to investigating, the group gets tracked down and hunted by the killer. Chrys dies before Zubari does.

Chrys is a kind and warm person, happy to help in any way she can with anything she's asked. It's hard to tell whether she's an oblivious idiot or a total pushover sometimes with how agreeable she is. She doesn't seem concerned about danger to herself, treating even her own death as more of an inconvenience than anything else. She loves taking care of people around her, but she also has a fascination with the macabre and has been poking around roads to watch maggots eat roadkill since she was young.

Chrys is vaguely aware of the player, recognizing that their swallowtail butterflies are not common in the area, but she forms no opinions on their presence.

Chrys and Zubari are close friends with a good rapport. Chrys can be a bit of an enabler sometimes and stokes Zubari's ego pretty often.

Chrys is attending the same university that other characters are also attending. She's studying forensics along with Zubari, specializing in forensic entomology. She's a transfer student from a different University in a different town.

Chrys not only specializes in forensic entomology, she is excellent at finding clandestine graves. Having her as the party leader will cause room exits to be surrounded by white butterflies when they lead closer to a scene that Zubari can investigate.
