Zubari is a student of forensics at the college Callie goes to. She's an investigative savant, having skipped several grades of school and made it to college with a full-ride scholarship. She has grand designs to reform the police system from the ground up, and she jumps at the opportunity to test her methods on Callie's case. She drags her two dearest friends along for the ride, and tolerates the presence of the wife of one of the victims in order to get her perspective on the situation. Once her friends fall victim to the same killer that Callie's did one by one, she becomes determined to solve the case herself. Unfortunately the killer handles her before she can get far.

Zubari is very unabashedly confident in herself and her supposed 'genius,' even giving herself the title of 'Detective.' That said, her pride doesn't close her off to outside perspectives. She listens to all sources of info and examines every piece of evidence several times before drawing any conclusions. The answers she comes to are thorough and don't waste any detail, but she sometimes takes into account facts that aren't as important as she thinks they are. In a way she's too observant for her own good, and has a memory so precise that it can be damaging. She starts the story as a very ostentatious and prideful person, but she shows during the course of it that she's capable of "locking in" and acting serious.

Callie is the one that 'hired' Zubari for such an interesting case, so she treats her cordially. She's initially determined to make Callie into a sort of 'Watson' for herself, but ultimately fails.

dreyse ❤❤❤❤♡

Zubari and Dreyse are close friends, with Dreyse typically acting as the rational check on Zubari's power trips. Zubari values Dreyse highly, though she doesn't always say this.

chrys ❤❤❤❤♡

Zubari and Chrys are close friends, with Chrys acting as an encouraging presence and nurturing Zubari's problem-solving skills. Chrys can occasionally be a bit of an enabler, though, making Dreyse essential for the friendship to stay healthy.

Zubari is initially cordial towards Simone, but when Simone runs off to tell the local police about the situation Zubari sees her as a coward and a traitor.

Zubari has a full-ride scholarship and is getting her degree in Forensic Science. The University insignia is a simple cat, which also represents their sports team. The University itself is never named, but everyone in Callie's small town goes there for their degrees. Zubari is still in the process of obtaining her degree, but it's unknown how far along she is.

Zubari is capable of examining crime scenes and items for information that others would't be able to get, and to find creative uses for items that others wouldn't be able to think of. She serves best as the leader of the party because of this ability.

• Zubari is based on and represented by barn swallows.
• Zubari's fear response is Fight.
• Zubari's flower on this website is amaryllis, which represents pride.
• Zubari has multiple external inspirations, the most notable being Luke Atmey from Ace Attorney. Her name comes from his catchphrase, and her personality is very similar.
• Zubari is also based on a folktale where a poor man found a barnswallow with a broken wing and nursed it back to health. When the swallow returned it brought eggs full of wealth and happiness.
• Zubari is half Japanese half African-American. She wears yukata sometimes due to her father's influence, but she is not fluent in Japanese and has never been to Japan.
• Zubari has the most eccentric fashion sense of any of the Final Girl Syndrome girls, and I have no clue where she'd get clothes like this. Normal clothing just didn't suit her the same way.
