Archive: OCs: Misc.: Achelous

Another FireAlpaca piece from OC-tober 2020, this time the prompt being "spring." I was experimenting with different ways to draw water. I like how shiny this version is, but it also looks way too much like swimming pool water. The waves are also a bit too aggressive. The proportions aren't too bad on this one, but I've updated Achelous' design since drawing this to be much better. I also used to hide my signature in pieces instead of just putting it in the corner like I do now. You can barely see it on this one. I do like the energy this piece has, but if I redrew it I would give his boat a passenger. It looks weird with nobody else with him. He's a psychopomp for suicide victims specifically, though, so that would be a bit morbid...
