Archive: Friends: Hosea/Eggpunsareoverrated: Ari and Julia & OCs: Riftbreak: Alfredo Noella

I have a love-hate relationship with this image. The artstyle is incredibly dated because I drew it on FireAlpaca, so it just kinda looks bad. Everyone is way too long with buttons that are way too small. However, the outfits are cute... ish. They could use a bit of an update. Everything from the shoulders up on Ari I love, though. He has vampire vibes. A few friends and I had jokingly named a collection of our OCs the "KPOP Squad," for some reason, so I drew Egg's OCs in outfits inspired by the styles I've seen KPOP idols in. Disclaimer: I have not seen many KPOP bands at all. It was also supposed to be in a changing room, but the room is so uncomfortably empty that it just feels tacked on. You know, kind of like the shadows on the Ellen and Venari pieces from earlier. The heels are also way too narrow. Heels that come to fine points have a lot more support under the sole than this, typically. I also question why past me did what they did with Alfredo's outfit. Like... why would you tie the shirt AND have a tailcoat? It looks so... awkward. The shorts don't help. The tails just look stapled onto the outfit with no actual benefit. Julia's alright, I guess. Her ankles are different widths for some reason, but otherwise she's just sort of average. Just barely enough rose motifs to be matching with Ari, but not enough to make herself stand out. Truth be told, that kind of suits her. So yeah, I like this piece, but I also hate it. It needs to be cropped better.
