OCs: The Adventures of Teddy and Mara: Noctilucent Bloodstone

This was an attempt at a Victorian era style painting that I made to be my profile picture for a while to match with my friends. We all agreed to do paintings of our OCs like that. I misunderstood and drew in the style of Victorian paintings, while what they actually meant was putting our OCs in Victorian style clothes and drawing their portrait... oops. I also forgot Noctilucent's wings. Double oops. This was drawn back when his name was Cumulus, and before I majorly updated his design to change his horns and eyes. His outfit is basically the same, though. I like the painterly look, but I must confess a secret: I did use layers for this. I didn't use any Multiply layers, I never do for my art, but I did keep the head separate from the body separate from the hair etc etc before fusing them all down. I just like having crisp lines and couldn't do that all on the same layer with the paintbrushes like I can with my typical pens. Skill issue.
