Dungeons and Dragons: Curse of Strahd

I was lucky enough to be a player in my highschool Dungeon Master's Curse of Strahd campaign. Malory was basically an apocalypse cleric meant to eventually house Asmodeus' soul, but through the Curse of Strahd campaign learned that their fate didn't have to be all doom and gloom. They ended up falling in love with one of the other characters, a dragonborn named Baythus Lexryn (son of Vorseth Lexryn of House Lexryn, heir to the Lexryn Estate and loyal knight of His Majesty, the King. Yes, he said all of this every time he introduced himself). The catalyst for realizing they could change their own fate was being chosen by a legendary sword to be the hero of Barovia, but it was Baythus that eventually killed Strahd. Later my DM used Malory in a sequel for his other DnD campaign that I also played in (though not as Malory) and he mischaracterized Malory so bad that I'm still mad about it. They had this nice healing arc only for it to be completely ignored!! Whatever though. I don't talk to him anymore so it doesn't matter.
