Archive: Friends: Sugarfree Syrup: Asuka Shimizu & OCs: Riftbreak: Eos Cirillo

Syrup had a contest where you drew your OC sitting next to Asu on this fancy couch and won some art in return. It was held on Instagram, and I do not have an Instagram account. I had actually entered purely as a contingency: the only person that had entered at the time was someone she secretly disliked. It's not much of a secret anymore. Anyhow, I won by default and never ended up redeeming the prize. That's not to say I didn't have fun drawing this, though. I'm never happy with how I draw Asuka unfortunately. This piece is no exception. She just looks off somehow, and not much like herself. I do like this pose, though, and Eos looks cute enough. The wallpaper pattern was a pain for me because I couldn't find a brush to do it for me, so I had to hand draw it. The lighting is a bit overly red, but I kind of like that for some reason. It could've been cropped better, but I was way too proud of my replication of that couch to cut it out. I had picked Eos to draw with Asu because Syrup and I had used Asu and Eos in our Royale High games, so they had a cute dynamic at the time. They were literally college roommates that dated briefly but broke it off and are still chill with each other in terms of their real life development and I find that hilarious.
